Sensor data and cycle time measurement – directly at the line.
CedarInsight doesn’t just capture part counts, it simultaneously reads captures parameters such as pressure, temperature, or vibration with own sensors and correlates them with production data. This makes relationships visible that remain hidden in conventional OEE systems: Does a drop in air pressure lead to more handling errors? Which sub-process is driving up cycle time? Answers that previously required costly measurement campaigns.
Flexible line configuration – even with changing products.
Not every product uses the line the same way. CedarInsight supports product-specific line configurations: for product A, only three stations are captured; for product B, the entire line. Cycle times, target quantities, and active stations are defined per production program. OEE and bottleneck analysis adapt automatically — no manual reconfiguration during product changeovers.

Install sensors
Mount IO-Link sensors (e.g. distance sensors) on your production line for part counting. The counting logic is already built into the Pinebox software in combination with CedarInsight. No machine modifications required — your PLC programs remain unchanged.
Connect Pinebox and configure the line
The Pinebox edge gateway receives sensor data, processes it, and passes it to the CedarInsight software. Everything runs on the Pinebox, on-premise. Connect via Wi-Fi access point or Ethernet — standalone or integrated into your corporate network.
Track OEE and bottlenecks
Access live dashboards from any browser: scoreboard directly at the line, operator tablet on the shop floor, management screen in the office. Monitor real-time data and analyze past production runs.
